Patrick Keegan, the co-founder and managing partner of Keegan & Baker, LLP, is experienced, accomplished California employment law attorney who represent employees in a wide range of employment matters. Mr. Keegan has successfully handled numerous class action cases for over 25 years. As an example, Mr. Keegan acted as co-class counsel and co-trial counsel, in a class action entitled Jason A. Park v. Cytodyne Technologies, Inc., Case No. GIC 768364, California Superior Court, San Diego County, (Judge Ronald L. Styn), asserting false advertising claims under the Unfair Competition Laws (California Business and Professions Code Sections 17200 and 17500) and the Consumer Legal Remedies Act (California Civil Code Section 1750). In Jason A. Park v. Cytodyne Technologies, Inc., Mr. Keegan brought a successful motion for class certification and, along with his co-counsel, obtained a judgment of $12,536,820.00 in restitution and additional prohibitive injunctive relief on behalf of the certified class after a 7 week trial in 2003.
In addition to Jason A. Park v. Cytodyne Technologies, Inc., Mr. Keegan has worked on numerous class actions over the past 25 years, including the following cases, in which he acted as lead or co-lead counsel on behalf of a plaintiff class resulting in significant recoveries:

Mr. Keegan also served as General Counsel for Clean Plate Club, LLC, which is based in Carlsbad, California, and is a wholesale and manufacturing footwear company producing the lifestyle brand Gourmet Footwear.
Appellate Experience: Mr. Keegan has also written appellate briefs for California state courts and federal courts, and in published decisions on cases heard by the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Ninth, Eighth, and Second Circuits in the following cases:

Admissions: Mr. Keegan was admitted to the California Bar in 1993. Mr. Keegan is also admitted to the follow federal courts: Southern District of California; Northern District of California; Central District of California; Southern District of New York, and United States Court of Appeals for the Second and Ninth Districts.
Education: Mr. Keegan received his Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University, Long Beach in 1989 and his Juris Doctor degree from California Western School of Law in 1993.
