Mr. Keegan recently obtained final approval of a class action settlement in the case entitled Marine, et al., v. Interstate Distributor Co., Case No. RG 07358277, filed in the Alameda Superior Court for the State of California, in which Defendant employer agreed to pay a total of $2.650 million on behalf of a class of employees who had worked as local hourly truck drivers. In the lawsuit, Plaintiff alleged that Defendant failed to make meal and rest breaks available as required by California law.
